Jim Coyne was raised in Pacific Grove, California. He came to Fresno where he graduated with a degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting from California State University, Fresno.
Jim worked as a sportscaster for a while, but he didn’t like the idea of moving across the country to move up in the business. “There was so many things I liked about the San Joaquin Valley that I didn’t want to leave,” he says.
Jim got into the flooring business and has never looked back. Today, as a manager, he makes sure his staff provides each customer with the “best possible experience.
He adds, “I still sell as well so I know what the expectations are for both the customer and the company. I still enjoy meeting with builders, designers, and customers to find the best flooring solutions for each project.”
Jim values working with his staff at Robinson’s Interiors. “My staff cares about every customer and project we take on. We didn’t become one of the top-rated flooring companies in the valley by accident. We worked hard for a long time to be successful.”
He says, “I also enjoy that my staff can still have a good time and enjoy each other. Each morning everyone arrives at our showroom fired up for the day.”
When Jim is not working, he likes to spend time with his family and friends. He enjoys sports and traveling.
