Tolivers Carpet One Floor & Home recently hosted the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit at their store in Tempe, AZ. After making its first appearance at the Phoenix Convention Center for Carpet One Floor & Home’s Winter Convention, the exhibit traveled to Tolivers Carpet One Floor & Home’s Tempe location where it was open to the public for free for two days.
The exhibit was created by the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation to help educate young people about the events that took place on September 11, 2001. The exhibit at Tolivers Carpet One Floor & Home reached over 750 people.
As a backdrop to the exhibit, artist Scott Lobaido created a 533 sq. ft. U.S. flag mural on the side of the Tolivers Carpet One Floor & Home store. The flag will remain as a reminder and a thank you to the community for their support.
