Harry Katz Carpet One Cooks For A Cause

HARRY KATZ CARPET ONE HOSTS VIRTUAL COOKING CLASS.

On June 3, 2021, Harry Katz Carpet One, in conjunction with Warriors for a Cause, hosted a virtual cooking class to benefit the Tunnel to Towers foundation.

This fundraiser was hosted in an effort to raise money for the Tunnel to Towers foundation, an organization focused on honoring the life of firefighter Stephen Siller, who laid down his life on September 11, 2001. This organization honors our military and first responders who make the ultimate sacrifice of life and limb for our country.

Warriors for a Cause have been a huge supporter of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation for over eight years. Supporting their mission to honor our military and first responders, the event further assisted efforts in raising money for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

To kick off the fun evening, Chef Mathew Hisiger, owner and operator of LB Social in Long Beach, California, welcomed virtual attendees as the host. His recipe of choice to share at this event was one of his favorite meals – chicken meatballs with marinara sauce over a bed of zucchini noodles.

For just fifty dollars, attendees received a zoom link, an ingredient list, and a one-of-a-kind virtual cooking class by a renowned, local chef, and it was all for a great cause! Plus, they were able to enjoy a meal at their own home after the event was over. It was a blast and a huge success!
