Carpet One Floor & Home is a corporate sponsorship of the Carpet America Recover Effort (CARE). CARE is a non-profit organization whose mission is to find solutions for the reuse and recycling of post-consumer carpet. Since 2002, CARE has reported more than 2.7 billion pounds of old carpet have been diverted from U.S. landfills.
In cooperation with CARE, Carpet One Floor & Home encourages all members to register to become supporting members of CARE and help in their efforts to divert carpet from landfills. The recycled carpet will go into the production of new carpet, carpet backing, automotive parts, fiber pad and more.
