Carpet One Floor & Home stores across the United States have begun asking customers at check out to donate $10 to our Building for America's Bravest program. Since its kick-off at the beginning of 2015, we have found that customers have showed overwhelming support of the program.
Many shoppers offer to donate even if they are not purchasing at the time, and store owners and sales professionals have stepped up in a huge way to raise money and awareness of Building for America's Bravest.
Several Carpet One Floor & Home store owners have pledged the match all donations made by customers. Just one example of this effort is Daryl Routzahn, owner of Kehne's Carpet One Floor & Home in Frederick, MD, who reported that his store has raised $4,320 since the beginning of the $10 Donation drive.
All donations go to Building for America's Bravest, and will be crucial in raising the funds necessary to complete homes for the hundreds of veterans that are still waiting for a functional place to call home.
