Mike Robinson, Owner

As a young independent contractor, Mike Robinson installed draperies and carpets in homes. One day he found his spare bedroom full of draperies and his garage full of carpet, so he went down to Chinatown and rented a space. Mike began his business with a $35 dollar investment and a handshake with the landlord. That was in 1980. Today, Robinsons Interior CARPET ONE® has numerous employees and does millions of dollars in business both in the residential and commercial sectors. Mike’s top concern is that his staff of flooring specialists does each job right and that customers get the best flooring possible for their budget. Today, Mike is thrilled to be working in the homes of his first customers’ grandchildren.


Mike Haile, Commercial Sales Manager

Mike Haile is a Certified Master Mechanic and holds a Floor Covering Contractor’s License. He began his career at Robinsons Interior in 1983 as an installer, where he soon found himself managing crews. In 2002, Mike became our Commercial Sales Manager. Mike has more than 15 years of experience managing commercial job sites, along with sales and estimating. Some of the impressive jobs Mike has managed include: Adventist Medical Center, Cancer Treatment Center, Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino, NAS Lemoore (180K square feet of barracks), Fort Mason, Sierra Pacific High School, and more.


Jeff Macedo, Store Manager

Jeff Macedo began working as an installer for Robinsons Interior during his college years when he was on summer vacation. After college, he decided to make the flooring business his career. He loves delivering the best flooring possible for his customers. He especially enjoys that Robinsons can help customers who need their flooring fast — whether it's because of water damage or they are just in a hurry because of our 6,000 square foot warehouse full of flooring. Jeff is our tract home flooring specialist. He has carpeted and covered hundreds — if not thousands — of homes in the area.


Gary Wells, Sales Manager

Gary Wells has been in floor covering since 1987 and has worked for Robinsons since 1993. Gary is qualified to select the best flooring materials for both commercial and residential jobs. Gary is passionate about his work. He often advises customers saying, “The right product on a job is just as important as the right price.” Gary coaches the sales team that “once the sale is made, the hard work begins.” The sales rep is responsible for ordering materials, scheduling installation, and to see that all problems that arise are resolved. “We’re a start-to-finish organization,” says Gary.


Maria Husak, Sales and Interior Decorator

With her degree in accounting, Maria Husak spent the first 20 years of her career crunching numbers. But she always had a flair for decorating and a way with people. That’s why Mike Robinson snagged her to join his sales staff of flooring specialists. Today, Maria considers herself blessed to be able to use her creative gifts helping people beautify their homes. After 15 years at Robinsons Interior, Maria has an established clientele that turn to her for decorating advice on more than just floor coverings.


Danny Coulon, Sales

Danny Coulon wants customers to know that Robinsons Interior only does floors. Big Box store staffers have to know a little about everything; they don't have the time to learn a lot about any one product. "We don't know much about refrigerators, plumbing, or paint. We do know about floors," says Danny. Danny originally came to Robinsons Interior after a number of years in the sporting goods business. So selling floor coverings was a bit of a change for him. Yet, he really found a home here and has been very successful.


Luke Robinson, Controller

Luke is the middle son of Mike and Barbara Robinson. He attended Chapman University and graduated with a BS in Accounting. After college, he returned to Hanford and went to work for another Robinson family entity becoming the General Manager for Adventure Park. Later, he went to work for Martin C. Garcia Accountancy where he honed his accounting skills. Today, Luke is the Controller for both Robinsons Interior Carpet One in Hanford and Robinson's Flooring in Fresno. In addition, he is busy learning the flooring business inside out. When not working, Luke loves to spend time with his wife and three children and, of course, the huge Robinson family.


Jake Robinson, Accounting, Tech, Sales

Jake is the youngest son of Mike and Barbara Robinson. He grew up around the flooring business, but he never saw himself actually going into the family business. It wasn’t until he grew up that he was able to appreciate the good name and solid business that his father had built. He wanted to become a part of continuing and building upon that legacy, so he joined the business in 2015. Jake graduated from California State University Fresno with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance. Jake is married and has two beautiful children ... so far. When not working, Jake enjoys spending time with his family, including eight nieces and nephews.


Veronica Haile, Office Manager, Payroll, Certified Payroll, Notary Public

Veronica is often the first person you encounter when you phone or visit Robinsons Interior. She is the cheerful voice behind, "Robinsons Carpet One!" She is also an ace at keeping paperwork moving, especially on the commercial side when builders need all their documents in order. She's been with the company since 1995.


Kristy Wood, Project Coordinator, Payroll

Kristy is a graduate of Fresno Pacific University with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. She coordinates commercial projects, handles submittals, commercial accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Kristy joined Robinsons in 2011, not quite knowing what to expect. She dove right into the fast pace of the store. Any job she is asked to do, she does 120%. It's obvious to all when they see her smiling face that she loves her job. She says, "I love the people here more than I ever have at any other job. They are full of life and really genuine."
